Suomalaisia kummallisuuksia -- Finnish oddities

Näitäpä ei tarvitse paljon suomeksi selitellä..

My Austrian friend pointed out some Finnish oddities during her stay in Finland.
And learned to like them as well (I hope!).

When it's cold, say -26,5 °C

The snow might make the car look like a giant hedgehog.

And that's when you need to remember to plug in your car. Possibly an hour before your departure.

Or else

You might have to use a bit slower means of transport: the kick sledge!

There were many other oddities that I could tell you about but I'll leave it for another time.
